popular one and added a few new ones. the pomegranate and
red currant is yummy and subtle and we're expecting it to be just
as fast-moving as the rest of them! available in two sizes: 50
hour for $22 and 20 hour for $10. makes a great stocking stuffer

limited edition candle pots from perch!

we're so excited to be one of the few shops carrying the limited edition
(just 200 will be made) candle pots from Amy Adams at perch! 7 designs
in 4 colors will be filled with slightly scented soy wax. when you are done
with the candle, the wax washes out and you are left with a lovely cup to
hold pens and pencils, flowers or any number of things. they should ship
November 20th. so stay tuned and we'll let you know when they arrive in
store. if you have a particular color or pattern you know you want, shoot

some cool new offerings from roost. handpainted goldenberry juice glasses in sets of 6 for $72, blown glass piggy banks in two sizes ($18/$30) and stunning little tealight holders for $24. We have wine glasses and champagne glasses as well as other fun treats to be revealed as the holidays approach. but for now just enjoy these. and get in the shop or online soon because they don't usually hang around too long.

this just in...

new collection of kobo candles! the garden collection features 6 of the most interesting scents to date. we're consistently impressed with the bizarre groupings of flavors and scents these folks come up with. antique lavender, citron artichoke, heirloom vine, jalapeno (surprisingly yummy), moon wisteria and sparkling rose. we never can keep these in stock long enough, so swing into the shop and check them out for yourself. enjoy! and happy shopping! k&m

sneak peeks

a few images of some great new things coming to openhouse in the coming months. this is just a taste. we haven't even begun to get rolling on new stuff for spring. but these brightly colored items should help us get through these icky next months until the flowers start blooming and openhouse starts filling up again. we're adding a few children's items from blabla as well as some snazzy paper products from susyjack* (check out her blog here while you're at it, it's a fun read) and a whole new group of scents from our super-selling kobo candles. we'll let you know when things get in so you can check them out.
